Joe Lynn Turner is a legendary American vocalist who gained worldwide fame as frontman of three of the best hard rock bands of the 1980s: Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force and Deep Purple. Thanks to him Blackmore topped the American charts with albums "Difficult To Cure" (1981), "Straight Between The Eyes" (1982) and "Bent Out Of Shape" (1983), which went gold and gave fans of the band famous hits "I Surrender", "Stone Cold", "Street Of Dreams". Then with another all-time great guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, Turner recorded two more gold records: "Odyssey" (1987) and "Trial By Fire" (1989), and was asked to join both Bad Company and Foreigner, but chose to be a vocalist in the legendary band Deep Purple, where he recorded the album "Slaves And Masters" (1990) which also went gold!
During his long career Joe Lynn Turner worked on a number of other projects, such as Fandango, Mother's Army, Brazen Abbot, Sunstorm, Avantasia and more. For Hughes Turner Project he was invited by another great vocalist from the Deep Purple family Glenn Hughes. Turner's voice can even be found on Cher and Michael Bolton's recordings. In 2021 Turner featured in the album "Immortal" by Michael Schenker Group and began recording his new solo album.
