This musical play tells’ the story of a woman who has made it on her own in a man's world, constantly rising against the tides, transforming her music, image, and style to become a legend: Umm Kulthum, star of the Orient.
Umm Kulthum & The Golden Era will take you through a musical journey of her early years from the 1920s up to the 1970s, where she performed her grand concert at L'Olympia Theatre in Paris. A live orchestra and singers will perform this show to adapt to her early and later years. Songs including Ghanili, Alf Laylah, Serat el Hob, Hob Eyh, and many more of her top hits will be performed live.
