AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026

The AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026 is a major youth soccer tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It is a key event for young players and also acts as a qualifier for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

Eligibility

• Open to players born on or after January 1, 2003.
• Designed for players under 23 years of age.

Tournament Format

• Follows a group stage format.
• 16 teams advance to the final stage, including:
  • Group winners
  • Four best second-placed teams

Group Stage Details

• The UAE Football Association will host the group stage for the following national teams:
  • UAE
  • Iran
  • Guam
  • Hong Kong
• Dates: September 1 to September 10, 2025
