The AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026 is a continental event organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It is recognized as one of the most significant youth tournaments and serves as a qualifier for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

Eligibility

• Open to players born on January 1, 2003, and later.
• Designed for players under 23 years of age.

Tournament Format

• Group Stage Format:
  • 16 teams qualify for the final stage.
  • Includes group winners and the four best second-placed teams.

• Hosted by the UAE Football Association.
