Basketball Champions League Asia in Dubai

Formerly known as FIBA Asia Champions Cup before being renamed and rebranded in early 2024 in line with competitions in Europe and the Americas, the continent's top-tier club competition since 1981 is relaunched as Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia) in its debut this year and will include the continent’s top 8 clubs. Champion teams from Japan (B.League), Korea (KBL), China (CBA League), Indonesia (IBL), and Malaysia in addition to two clubs from FIBA West Asia Super League, and the Host will compete and the winner will qualify for FIBA Intercontinental Cup.

Prohibited Items:
  • No vapes allowed
  • No more than 2 meters of flags
  • Flags with sticks are not allowed
  • No vuvuzelas
  • No air horns
  • No megaphones
  • No drums and musical instruments behind benches and technical table

How to get there:

By car: Take Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) and exit onto Al Ittihad Road (E11). Continue on Al Ittihad Road towards Al Mamzar until you see signs for the stadium.  

By public transportation: Take the Green Line to Al Qiyadah Metro Station. From there, use local transportation or a taxi to reach the stadium, which is around 3 kilometers away.  

By taxi: You can also take a taxi to Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Sports Hall - Dubai from anywhere in Dubai. It's a famous destination and most drivers would be familiar with its location.
