• 4 PM: The Poets’ Quest

  • Audience: 10-14 year olds and families
  • Description: Embark on an epic adventure with "The Poets’ Quest." Join William Blake (an actor portrayal) as he discovers that the future of the world hinges on his poetic prowess. This time-traveling adventure follows Blake as he journeys through time to win back his true love, Grace, and save the world. Learn how to master rhyme, rhythm, and imagery while cheering for Blake’s quest to rewrite destiny.

• 6 PM: Muse It or Lose It

  • Audience: 13-16 year olds and families
  • Description: Explore the magic of self-expression through poetry and creative writing in "Muse It or Lose It!" On Mount Olympus, the Muses argue over whether music or poetry is the superior art form. This high-energy comedy links classic literature with contemporary works, showcasing techniques like metaphor and symbolism, and highlighting the importance of words—with plenty of laughs along the way.
  • “Slam Poetry v. Shakespeare”

• 8 PM: Words of War

  • Audience: 14 years old to Adult
  • Description: Dive into the raw world of Wilfred Owen with "Words of War," featuring powerful poems such as "Dulce et Decorum Est" and "Anthem for Doomed Youth." This performance explores poetic techniques like imagery, irony, and rhythmic schemes while reflecting on the brutal realities of World War I. Experience war through the lens of one of history’s greatest war poets.
