For those with an adventurous heart, a curious spirit, and an appreciation for the beauty and power of traditional music the Tanweer Sacred Music Festival, taking place from November 24 – 26, 2023, offers a unique outdoor festival experience.
The first event of its kind in the UAE, Tanweer (meaning enlightenment in Arabic) will present international recording artists and guardians of sacred indigenous musical cultures in what promises to be a unique sonic experience.
Taking place in the wondrous and ancient surroundings of the Mleiha desert in Sharjah, the Tanweer Sacred Music Festival will elevate connections to the past and build a nourishing spirit of unity, with ticket holders given an opportunity to connect to the healing and transformational power of music from around the world.
With additional cultural, educational and heritage experiences on offer, as well as opportunities to camp, shop, and dine in the heart of the beautiful and historically significant Mleiha desert, ticket holders can engage their hearts, and learn from the incredible ancient cultural wisdom on display during this three-day event.
Entry Policy :
- 18 years and above requires ticket to enter the festival.
- 9-17 years enters for free must be accompanied by an adult 18 years and above holding a valid entry ticket
- Below age of 9 not allowed to enter
- Limited seats are available on a first come first served basis
