To Zayed Salam

To Zayed Salam performance presents Emirati oud master and singer Faisal Al Saari with a group of professional singers from the UAE to present to the public traditional songs that cover themes inspired by the poems of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The poems touch diverse subjects relative to the life in the UAE society.  Together with the concert, an exclusive compilation of footage from the life and memories of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan will be screened, relating to the music and recreating the late leader’s symbolic presence in the culture and values of the UAE today. The film highlights Sheikh Zayed’s character, kindness and love for his people. A unique and moving musical and visual experience awaits the public, highlighting both the traditions of the UAE’s musical heritage and the life and persona of the Founder of the Nation.
