The sea around Muscat is rich in life due to its location and seasonal cold-water currents that keep our corals healthy and full of life. Dolphin's hunt and travel along the coast of Oman from Musandam to Salalah, and Muscat has a fair share of sightings of spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and common dolphins. We also see plenty of whale sharks (from May to October), false killer whales, and occasional sightings of humpback whales and orcas. On rare occasions, we can see Arabian and blue whales. We do our best to get you to experience wildlife watching in a responsible manner to help protect our resident sea creatures and ensure a quality experience for all.

Set sail from Marina Bandar Al Rowdha for an unforgettable dolphin sightseeing along Muscat's vibrant coast, where seasonal cold-water currents keep the corals healthy and attract a rich array of marine life. As you cruise the waters during dolphin watching cruise, keep an eye out for spinner, bottlenose, and common dolphins, all frequent visitors to this area.

From May to October, you might also spot the gentle giant, the whale shark, along with false killer whales and, on rare occasions, humpback whales, orcas, and even the elusive Arabian and blue whales.

Our dolphin watching tour emphasizes responsible wildlife watching to protect these incredible creatures and ensure a quality experience for all. We start dolphin watching Muscat, Oman by welcoming you at the Qantab Tourism office at Marina Bandar Al Rowdha 15 minutes before departure for registration.

After that, you'll board the boat, and our team will use a combination of local insights and visual scouting to locate the dolphins. Once spotted, the boat will return to the marina, passing by the picturesque coastal villages of Qantab and Al Bustan.
