Ayder Plateau in the Camlihemsin district of Rize is located at an altitude of 1350 m above sea level. The plateau is covered with spruce and beech forests. Famous for its waterfalls and hot springs, Ayder is a wonderful plateau with natural beauty that looks like paradise, with the Kackar Mountains stretching behind and its slopes covered with pine trees. Gelintulu Waterfall, located on the plateau, has a magnificent view.
Firtina River, formerly known as Peruma, is one of the rivers in the Eastern Black Sea Region and was formed by the merger of the streams on the slopes of the Kackar Mountains facing the Black Sea. Firtina River, which flows into the Black Sea approximately 2 km west of Rize Ardesen, is 68 km long. Firtina River, which passes through tea gardens and is decorated with arch bridges, has tracks suitable for rafting. Sportive angling is also possible in the river.

Tour Itinerary: Trabzon - Eskitoglu Waterfall - Firtina River - Ayder - Stone Bridge - Rize Cloth
Our daily Ayder tour starts at 09:00 every day by meeting at our office. After picking up the guests, our first stop before we reach Rize is Eskitoglu Waterfall which falls in two levels from a height of approximately 80 meters and is only 500 meters away from the sea. Afterward, we travel through the Rize city center and head off to the Firtina valley.
We take a break near the Firtina River where activity areas are located and allow you to enjoy this time with activities such as rafting, ziplining and getting on the swing. Finally, passing through the roads that offer us all shades of green, we enter the Kackar Mountains National Park and reach Ayder Plateau.
We park our car in front of the restaurant and give you free time for lunch and sightseeing. During this time, you can visit the Gelintulu Waterfall, located about 500 meters above, and taste the corn flour halva made according to the season. At the end of the free time, we meet at the designated point and start the return journey.
Just before coming to Camlıhemsin district, we take photos at the historical stone bridge called Kale-i Hala, which was built in the 18th century.
Finally, we end our tour in Trabzon by visiting a store where some of the famous Rize cloths are produced and where you can buy local souvenirs.
