Süt Kardeşler in Izmir

The play, which was adapted by Nejat Uygur, the doyen of Turkish Theater, was first performed as a theater play and then transferred to the cinema, is now staged by Süheyl & Behzat Uygur Theater under the name Süt Kardeşler. The confusion that arises as a result of two navy soldiers deliberately changing their leave papers is resolved thanks to the Navy Commander Gazanfer. Offering examples from Traditional Turkish Theater, the play takes the audience back to the 1950s with its stage, decor and costumes.
