After a decade attempting to speak truth to power in India, Azeem Banatwalla has lost all his friends. He's really just doing this show to find actual humans to talk to, because the alternative is staring at a phone screen. With everyone his age is raising kids or battling depression, Azeem's only social interactions are with Gen-Z kids on the internet who call him 'washed', 'cooked' and other household chores. Worryingly, he has learnt what a 'griddy' is. Unfortunately, after this show, so will you. Generational is a show about our relationship with our friends and our phones, and how excessive connectedness has, in fact, created the loneliest generation in history.
