Standing 828 meters high in Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world. The Chicago-based architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) designed the building, which also designed iconic buildings such as the Willis Tower in Chicago and the One World Trade Center in New York City.
